Come HOME to Mayflower Gardens!

At Mayflower Gardens, active, independent adults over 55 love our unique 65-acre, tree-dotted campus nestled in the hills. They love our charming single level garden apartment buildings have front doors that open to the outdoors. They love having space to plant flowers, they love the many activities and amenities, they love their freedom, they love the peace and quiet, they love the friends they make, and they love the friendly, small town atmosphere . . . they love life!

Mayflower Gardens offers truly independent living: every one of our spacious apartments has its own full kitchen (complete with full sized gas stove and refrigerator), residents decorate and maintain their own apartments, they may do a little gardening, join the many clubs and activities, come and go as they please, and generally live the life that they choose.

And because basic utilities - including electricity, water, gas, trash and even basic cable TV - are included in the monthly rent, it is very easy to manage a budget.  In addition, each of our 81 apartment buildings has its own laundry room for resident's use, and there is security on grounds for peace of mind.
Call (661) 943-3228 to arrange a private tour of our lovely community and see for yourself why Mayflower Gardens is more than just a place to live, it is a place to LOVE LIFE!

Also on site: Mayflower Gardens Convalescent Hospital 661-943-3212 and Mayflower Gardens Assisted Living 661-943-5789.

Mayflower Gardens is very proud to be The Retirement Housing Foundation's very first community project, opening its doors in May of 1965 in the hills of western Lancaster, California.
